Introduction

The purpose of the position is to provide efficient and safe transportation for company employees, utilizing the company bus to transport them to their designated locations. Additionally, the role involves collecting and delivering essential company supplies as needed to support business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Driver will be responsible for, but not limited  to:

• Providing a safe and timely transportation of employees and company materials to and from designated locations.
• Maintaining a well-organized and clean vehicle at all times
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Following all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assisting with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required.
• Ensuring that the proper security measures are in place when transporting valuable materials.
• Reporting any vehicle or safety issues to management immediately.
• Maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and fuel usage.
• Assisting with general office tasks.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric
• Valid Driver’s Licence that has been in operation for 10 years with a valid PDP
• Proven track record of driving for a company
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret road signs and maps
• Proficiency with GPS and navigation systems
• Ability to identify and respond to potential hazards while driving
• Proficient in vehicle inspection, including checking fluids, tire pressure and brake function
